WHAT IS A WATERJET CUTTER?
Waterjet cutting is a cold-cutting process that uses ultra-high-pressure water combined with abrasive garnet to cut through virtually any material with extreme precision. Because it generates no heat, there's no risk of material distortion or warping—making it the ideal solution for delicate or heat-sensitive jobs.
Our OMAX 5555 waterjet cutter is a high-precision workhorse, capable of producing intricate, smooth-edged 2D parts with tolerances as fine as 0.1mm.
