Waterjet cut Smith & Wesson .38 Revolver for a Custom Award
We (Abrasive Waterjet Services in Auckland), had the unique opportunity to create this unique project — cutting a Smith & Wesson .38 revolver in half to create a custom award piece.
Method: Precision waterjet cutting
Material: Hardened gunmetal steel
Using our OMAX 5555 waterjet, we cleanly and safely cut through the revolver’s hardened steel frame. Waterjet cutting is ideal for working with tough, heat-sensitive materials like hardened gunmetal, delivering a smooth, precise finish without distortion.
